Taking a walk outside I found this little kitty staring at me in the bushes, it seemed super sweet as it was meowing at me while I was taking its picture... but then ran away when I got closer to try and pet it!

Day 194: Antique Book Collecting / July 13, 2011 by Kelli Conley

No matter what place we visit on vacation I always tend to pick up some sort of antique book. I have since started a collection and hope to fill one of those entire wall book shelves! I picked up this one in Little Switzerland at an antique bookstore there, because I loved the detail on the cover.

Day 193: 1871 Colt Revolver / July 12, 2011 by Kelli Conley

I was able to take some "in memory of" pictures of an 1871 Colt Revolver for my friend Jim Turner. He purchased the gun some years back and had it inspected by David F. Clark, whose initials are stamped on the barrel, verifying its authenticity. He is sad to be selling it, but happy that after auction it will be going to someone who will truly appreciate it!

Followed behind a couple groups at the ASC Greenway Archery Tournament! It was interesting to see what they do in order to hit the target. One of the groups even let me test out my own skills with a bow... lets just say I'll keep my day job =)

Had an awesome sunset by the lake today! Even though it was 100% humidity and after every shot Morgan and I were wiping sweat off our brows, it was worth it!
