Day 250: Statement Ring

With trends changing so rapidly I tend to wait awhile before I jump onto a trend bandwagon. That being said... big rings have been in for awhile now and I finally broke down and got my first one! I felt that all the others I have seen are so blingy, but this one was more detailed and my style! I love it, and I'm sure almost everyone I know has seen me wearing it!

Day 248: Rain Splash

D248:

It has been nothing but gloomy here this Labor Day! The sun came out a couple times this morning but then a storm hit our way! We have only had a couple storms that are so powerful and windy that they splash rain onto the rocking chairs on our covered porch! While there was a break in the storm I ran out there and snapped this with the street light reflecting onto the rain drops.

Day 247: Neon Straw

I was making a yummy strawberry milkshake for my husband tonight when I thought it would be funny to put a neon pink straw in it to match the strawberry rather than something masculine like blue! I stole a sip and I must say it was pretty good! =)
