Amy: Stunning in Lace - Fort Mill, SC by Kelli Conley

Almost every bride would loved to be photographed in peach trees! Their pretty pink blooms and beautiful green leaves make their wedding dresses stand out so beautifully! Amy was no exception to this! Her dress was so gorgeous, when I saw it I was immediately in love with the lace and design. Then she pulled out her veil and I was smitten with it! This shoot was amazing and I can't wait to photograph in the trees again next year!

David & Cara: Married - Mt. Pleasant, SC by Kelli Conley

With technology today, I sometimes do not actually meet the bride until the actual wedding day! With Cara & David this was the case. Yes we talked on the phone a lot, exchanged emails, were friends on Facebook, the norm; but we had never actually met! When I pulled up to Boal's Farm, their wedding venue, I went up to David and introduced myself but didn't think to mention "your photographer" so after a couple minutes of talking I notice a complete change in David's demeanor and he laughed and said I'm sorry I just realized who you are, you are our photographer!! It made us both laugh hysterically and I knew I was going to love working with him. I then drove to downtown Charleston where Cara was getting ready and when walking in, I was immediately greeted with open arms and a hug! I couldn't have asked for a better couple to work with! I absolutely loved them both and couldn't wait to photograph their big day! The two of them met while attending the College of Charleston, but soon after grduation David whisked Cara away to Colorado; which is where they currently reside. I can tell that the chemistry between these two is one that is deep and will never fade! I can't wait to see what the future has for the two of them, and hope to see them again next time they visit Charleston!

Pretty in Pink for Prom - Rock Hill, SC by Kelli Conley

When Kayla stepped out of the car my first thought was wow her dress rocks!! I had a hot pink dress back in the day and so her dress reminded me about all the fun times I had in high school. Kayla and her prom date Davonte' were awesome together and had me cracking up the whole time. I wanted to get their personalities to shine through the camera so we let loose and the below photo was the result! The whole afternoon was such a blast, then they were off to dinner in Charlotte with friends and then off to dance the night away back at Rock Hill High!

Starkey Family Photo Session - The Ivy Place, SC by Kelli Conley

Stacy contacted me awhile back wanting me to take some pictures of her son Aiden for his upcoming birthday invitations. We set the date and when we were working to come up with wardrobe options and location she talked about some of the things Aiden liked and that she thought it would be fun to do an outdoor cake smashing session in honor of his upcoming1st birthday! I was all for it!! It turned out to be a gorgeous day, and Aiden was all smiles! (Well except for when we had to clean him up after he thoroughly enjoyed his cake =/ But he made it through and bounced right back and was the smiling baby I had seen the rest of the time.) I'm looking forward to seeing how he treats his cake during his actual birthday party coming up in August! Oh and P.S. I was sooo excited to use my new bucket!! Aiden was perfect for it!!

Justin & Renee: Anne Springs Close Greenway Engagement Session - Fort Mill, SC by Kelli Conley

Justin and Renee are sooo cute together! We set up their engagement session at the Anne Springs Close Greenway Field Trail Barn, which is where their wedding will be held next year. They wanted to set it up for the end of April so they could see what the venue would be like a year from now when they are walking down the aisle. The whole week had been beautiful blue skys, but as they were driving down Renee called me and said it was storming in Charlotte and wanted to see if we should reschedule. Knowing the weather here I said lets meet up anyway because even if it does rain we may be able to get some shots dancing in the rain and usually after about 10 minutes or so the rain is gone. So as we both pulled up to the barn it started to get really windy and then sprinkled pretty hard. We decided to sit it out for a couple minutes and see what would happen. During that time I got to know Justin and Renee a little more and was able to see just how much I was going to love them, and taking their pictures! Then wouldn't you know it, the clouds disappeared and the sun came out. It was amazing and we were able to capture some great images of the two with a beautiful sky and gorgeous sunset.  I can't wait to see the awesome things these two have in store for their wedding next April!
