The Zaneys | A Growing Family Through The Years by KlixAdmin

I’ve said this many times, but I love being a lifetime photographer for my clients. The Zaneys for example! Caroline is an amazing friend also in the wedding industry (owner of Mint to Be Weddings!) and I have had the privilege of documenting her growing family since 2021! Seeing Caroline and Robbie embrace and thrive in parenthood has been amazing, and I have been honored document their precious moments for them!

Erica + Logan | An Engagement Session by KlixAdmin

It’s no secret I love an engagement session with my couples! It lets us get to know each other better, and gets them feeling comfortable in front of my camera before the big day! If you’re looking for more information on engagement sessions like what to wear, how to prepare for it, and things like that click here to read one of our previous blogs all about engagement sessions!

I had the privilege of working with Erica + Logan a couple weeks ago for their engagement session and it was so much fun! I sent them their album earlier last week, and thought I just had to share on here!

Caitlyn + Devin | A Romantic Fall Wedding Day by KlixAdmin

There are such beautiful components to each season when it comes to weddings. You can have cozy and romantic winter vibes under twinkly lights, bright beautiful colors in the spring, warm celebratory parties in the summer, and stunning backdrop of the changing leaves in the fall! Since Caitlyn + Devin are just a few days away from celebrating their first anniversary, I thought now is the perfect time to share some of my favorite photos from their gorgeous day!

Liza & Brek | An Intimate Wedding Day by KlixAdmin

On this week’s blog I wanted to talk about Liza and Brek’s beautiful wedding day on October 4, 2024. Surrounded by their closest family and friends in a family home, a place that was meaningful to them, they tied the knot together! They had so many personalized elements to their wedding day that truly reflected who they are as a couple and individuals that I just had to share in a blog. It truly was a beautiful day and I’m beyond excited for the two of them to start this new chapter!

Bridal Portrait Sessions: The Ultimate Guide by Kelli Conley

I personally love a bridal session! It gets brides comfortable with me and in front of the camera before their big day! It also helps them decide which poses they like and don’t like, and gives them more time to focus on taking photos with their partner on their wedding day!

Here is a recap of our Instagram mini series for bridal session tips and tricks!

  1. Embrace the details! Capture the intricate lace and stunning accessories that make your bridal look unique.

  2. Choose a location that reflects your personality. Whether it's a garden or a cityscape, your backdrop sets the mood.

  3. Timing is everything! The golden hour provides the most flattering light for those dreamy bridal portraits.

  4. Practice your poses in advance. Feeling comfortable in front of the camera will help
you shine on your big day.

  5. Bring one person with you so they can help with little touches like holding your veil or hyping you up! More than one person can get too hectic though so try to limit who you bring!

  6. Work with your florist and have them create a version of your bouquet for your photos! This brings the look to life!

  7. Schedule your hair and makeup trial for the day of your bridal session! This also helps the look come to life and helps you decide if there is any changes you need to make before your wedding day.

  8. Stay hydrated and rest well the night before. You want to feel your best during
    your session!

  9. Incorporate personal elements into your shoot-family heirlooms or meaningful locations make your photos even more special.

  10. Communicate with your photographer about your vision. Sharing ideas helps capture your unique style. Have fun and relax! Your bridal session is about celebrating you, so let your joy shine through!

We hope this helps alleviate any stress or confusion about bridal sessions! These sessions are truly so much fun to do!
